This is a very well-kept example of the legendary R129 chassis powered by the iconic 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V8 paired to an automatic transmission. The car runs and drives excellent with smooth power delivery, tight suspension and a very solid road feel exactly how these hand-built Mercedes-Benz vehicles were designed to perform. This SL comes with the original removable hard top included as well as the black soft top. According to the original window sticker, this 500SL carried an MSRP of over $100,000 when new and was ordered in a beautiful and highly desirable color combination with heated seats and many luxury features. The paint presents very nicely and the Saddle leather interior shows extremely well for its age. This Mercedes has been very well cared for over the years and comes with lots of service records.
